CSG Ancestry Service

For nearly four decades, the Ancestry Service at CSG has been one of the most powerful and important tools for connecting members with others sharing a common ancestry. Long before Internet message boards, CSG members were busy sharing their pedigree charts with the hopes that a distant cousin was busy at work on another line of research.

The CSG Nutmegger also began to publish queries by surname and it wasn't long before many members (and non-members) were waiting for their next Nutmegger to see if they had found success. Over nearly four decades, this service has collected ten-of-thousands of pedigrees containing many details not recorded anywhere else in the world.

At some point in the future, it is our hope that an idex of these charts will be available through this Web site. CSG still accepts charts from members and also publishes queries in each edition of the Nutmegger.
