This book is well written, in easy to read format, giving excellent details on how a young person can begin researching their roots, without giving them too many complicated ways to begin.

It covers how to ask questions of your family, finding local records on the internet, using local archives, as well as how to organize a field trip to gather information.

Forms are provided in the back of the book to use for gathering information on Census, Deeds, Land records as well as a pedigree chart and family group sheet which are all essential to organizing your research.

This second edition book is a must for children who wish to learn about their heritage and keep their research organized
