History
Brief: |
Settled about 1710 as part of Massacoe, the Court established it as the Turkey Hills Parish in October 1736. It was also known as the Northeast Society of Simsbury and was enlarged with land taken from Windsor in 1737. It was incorporated as the town of East Granby on 2 June 1858. Town vital records begin 1858. Historical Society establishe 1976. |
